Terms and Conditions for Prize Draw: 12.25 FIA Conference 2026 Registration
1. Promoter
The promoter is Strategic Grants ABN 58 140 784 943, located at 655 Sherwood Road, Sherwood QLD 4005 Australia.
2. Eligibility
- The prize draw is open to Australian and New Zealand organisations eligible to purchase the Grants Expertise Management System (GEMS) Portal from Strategic Grants.
- Directors, employees, agents, and immediate family members of the promoter are not eligible.
3. Entry Period
- The promotion opens at 8:00 AM AEDT on Monday, 3 November 2025 and closes at 11:59 PM AEDT on Friday, 19 December 2025.
- Only entries received before the closing date/time will be accepted.
4. How to Enter
- Entrants gain entry by commencing onboarding of the Strategic Grants Grants Expertise Management System (GEMS) Portal, comprising commitment to customised calendar build and subscription, before the closing date.
- One entry per eligible organisation.
5. Prize
- The prize consists of one full registration to attend the Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA) Conference 2026 in Melbourne, 25–27 February 2026.
- Prize value (FIA non-member regular price): AUD 2,960.
- The prize includes conference registration only.
- The winner is solely responsible for all additional expenses related to attending the conference, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, and any other incidental costs.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Entrants acknowledge that the prize may be subject to additional terms set by the FIA Conference organisers.
- The prize will be awarded to the winning eligible organisation. It is the responsibility of the winning organisation to determine which employee or representative will use the ticket.
- The Promoter does not control or influence the selection of the individual winner within the organisation.
6. Draw Details
- The draw will be held in Queensland, Australia, on Friday, 9 January 2026.
- The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries.
7. Winner Notification & Prize Claim
- The winner will be notified by email or phone within 2 business days following the draw if they reside in New South Wales; otherwise, notification will be within 7 to 14 days.
- The winner must claim the prize within 14 days or an alternative winner may be drawn.
- Prize delivery details will be coordinated directly with the winner.
8. Privacy
- Entrant information will be collected, used, and stored in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy .
- Entrant data may be used for marketing purposes with entrant consent.
- Data collected from New Zealand entrants will comply with New Zealand privacy laws.
9. General Conditions
- The promotion is governed by Australian law, except where New Zealand entrants’ rights under New Zealand law apply.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the promotion in cases of force majeure or breach of terms.
- The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. Additional Terms for New Zealand Entrants
- All New Zealand entries must comply with New Zealand’s Prize Competition Game Rules.
- No prize competition entry fee or purchase is required beyond the eligible service and subscription purchase.
- The promoter commits to compliance with New Zealand’s requirements for public notification and prize awarding timelines.
11. Liability and Disclaimers
- The promoter excludes all liability to the extent permitted by law.
- Winners accept the prize at their own risk regarding usage.
