Areas of support: The 2020 NAIDOC Local Grants funding round aims to support activities being held during NAIDOC Week 2020 (8-15 November) that celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, achievements and continuing contributions to our country and society. Activities should align with the National NAIDOC Theme for 2020, ‘Always was, Always will be’.
Eligible regions: Australia

Grant value: Most previous grants between $200-$5,000

Areas of support: To support community organisations and not-for-profits that are working across a range of child safety and protection programs and initiatives.

Grant value: Seed grants: up to $50,000; Scale grants: up to $300,000 per annum for 3 years

Areas of support: Designed to encourage, acknowledge and reward the valuable contributions individuals, communities, and businesses are making throughout Queensland. The awards recognise those that work tirelessly to improve their communities by promoting the social, economic and environmental prosperity

Areas of support: Knowledge Grants will provide funding to organisations to build their research capacity and gain a better understanding of the legal needs of the community.

Areas of support: The Fund is calling for applications that support Tasmanians and Tasmanian organisations to recover and rebuild from Covid19

Grant: Yates and Life Education Australia - Growing Good Gardens Grant
Areas of support: Together with Yates Gardening, Life Education are encouraging young people to get out into the garden to grow and learn healthy habits. Grants are available to help create a garden space where kids can learn healthy habits and improve their physical and mental well-being.
Eligible regions: Australia
Application deadline: 28 August 2020
Grant value: 10 x $1,000 grants available

Grant: 2020/21 – 2022/23 Healthy Canberra Grants
Areas of support: To improve the health of Canberrans, with a focus on improving the quality of life of those living with a chronic illness and/or building greater social connectedness within our community.
Eligible regions: Australia
Application deadline: 4 September 2020
Grant value: Minimum $15,000 a year. Programs can be up to three years. Past grants have been as high as $600,000.

Grant: Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) Annual Grants
Areas of support: To increase participation in sport and recreation, with an emphasis on physical activity, through rational development of sustainable, good quality, well-designed and well-utilised facilities.
Eligible regions: WA only
Application deadline: 11 September 2020
Grant value: Between $100,000 - $166,666. Will fund up to 50% of total project costs. The total project cost must not exceed $500,000.

Grant: Community Sector Banking - Social Investment Grants Program
Areas of support: The Social Investment Grants Program are annual grants offered by Community Sector Banking and administered in conjunction with the Community Enterprise Foundation. Applicants must have a specific objective for the funding that delivers against the theme.
Eligible regions: Australia
Application deadline: 11 September 2020
Grant value: Applications can be made for grants of either $25,000 or $50,000.
